Handmade soap is better for your skin than commercially manufactured 'detergents' - even the Food and Drug Administration stats that there are few true soaps on the market, most commercial body cleansers are synthetic detergents. What would you rather put on your body and the body of your loved ones? Synthetic chemical detergents or something all natural?

Just take a look at the list of ingredients for an average bar of soap in your local store. It could contain sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), an anionic surfactant used in laundry detergent that will dry out and irritate your skin. It may also have sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), a cheap foaming agent that can become contaminated with the suspected carcinogen Dioxane while being manufactured.

If it’s labeled as antibacterial it probably contains triclosan. This chemical is classified as a pesticide by the Environmental Protection Agency. Well, yuck!

Our soaps are just real, natural products. No chemistry degree necessary. We use coconut oil, Shea butter, olive oil, sunflower oil and other base oils. These are all good for your skin, moisturizing and containing vitamins that help your skin stay elastic like it's supposed to be.

Natural soaps won't dry skin like a chemically based soap, there is nothing synthetic that can be absorbed by the body and is scented naturally as well.

So, be sure to use natural soap whenever possible.
